Tyrant Lizard King by PeejayCatacutan Tyrant Lizard King by PeejayCatacutan
This Jurassic Park-inspired commission piece brought me back to when I was a kid drawing dinosaurs each and everytime I could. Something a lot of people don't know is that I FIRST wanted to become a Palaeontologist when I was younger. I devoured several dinosaur books and even now I can probably name any dinosaur out there and give an in-depth lecture about the rise and fall of the Dinosaurs and how the world was in the Mesozoic era :) ...ok, getting way too nerdy now haha!

This is an all-traditional piece made using Copic Markers, inks, and acrylic on a 12"x16" Bamboo fiber paper. Minor highlight/shadow/contrast enhancements were made in Photoshop.

And yes, I AM OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS! :D Contact me here or through the links below for any questions:

I love this scene! And if you changed the Jurassic Dilophosaurus to, say, raptors which actually did live in the Cretaceous alongside T. Rex and Triceratops, this would look like an actual scene from prehistory (though right now it could pass as a scene from the Jurassic Park setting).

Thanks man! I get ya it's just that the client wanted the Dilophosauruses like the ones in the movie instead of the Velociraptors that were there too :D Good knowledge about the Mesozoic, buddy!
