Darkly Dreaming Dexter

Aftre watching the fireworks on New Year's eve, I couldn't sleep, I just finished the Spider-Man: Up against Venom [link] artwork a few hours before the clock struck 12 but I was itching to draw my first 2011 piece. The nagging craving reminded me of one of my favorite book/TV characters, Dexter Morgan.

No idea if I got the likeness perfectly, I don't think so. But what I wanted was to capture the monster inside that seemingly innocent grin.

I used pencils, Copic Markers, Unipin fine line pens, and Gelly Roll white pen.

I don't own Dexter. Why would I want to? LOL
