Return of the Jedi by PeejayCatacutan
Return of the Jedi
"I am a Jedi... Like my father before me." Those words still bring chills up and down my spine each time! :) This piece was finished last year and it's the biggest Star Wars piece I've done... So far :)

Copic Markers, inks, acrylics and colored pencils on 12"x16" Bamboo paper.
Son of Anarchy by PeejayCatacutan
Son of Anarchy
I wanted this commission piece to look like those classic monochromatic biker posters you would usually see in billiard halls and bars but still have the show's essence present. Being in a motorcycle club is in Jax's (the lead character) veins but all he really wants for him and his family is peace and I wanted that to show here.

Copic markers, inks, colored pencils and acrylics on 12"x16" Bamboo paper.

And yes, I AM OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS! :D (Big Grin) Contact me here or through the links below for any questions:

Tyrant Lizard King by PeejayCatacutan
Tyrant Lizard King
This Jurassic Park-inspired commission piece brought me back to when I was a kid drawing dinosaurs each and everytime I could. Something a lot of people don't know is that I FIRST wanted to become a Palaeontologist when I was younger. I devoured several dinosaur books and even now I can probably name any dinosaur out there and give an in-depth lecture about the rise and fall of the Dinosaurs and how the world was in the Mesozoic era :) ...ok, getting way too nerdy now haha!

This is an all-traditional piece made using Copic Markers, inks, and acrylic on a 12"x16" Bamboo fiber paper. Minor highlight/shadow/contrast enhancements were made in Photoshop.

Been insanely busy, guys! So here's one of the best Spawn pieces I have ever done traditionally :)

Inks, Copic Markers, Acrylics and Colored Pencils on

Cheers! :beer::D

Ok. It has come to my attention that this shit needs updating. I was a nurse in the OR. And then I got bumped up and was given a nice desk at the Administrator's office of the hospital I was working for... and then comics happened!

I left the hospital job to focus more on doing comic work--mostly coloring and doing cover art. Currently, I am working with Omar Spahi on a book called XenoGlyphs. It's already out and about so check it out!

Last March, Marvel picked me out of a bunch of very talented folks to be a colorist. For what project? I still don't know. When? Not sure either but they had me work on samples for an Uncanny X-Men book that featured the Avengers and the Fantastic Four (lineart by Terry Dodson).

Now I'm readily available for coloring jobs and cover art projects. Kindly browse my gallery and drop me a note if you wish to avail my services and want to see my rates.

I guess the title says it all, really. I'm currently working on XenoGlyphs and I do sketch cover commissions, which are ok. But the thing is I fear stagnation--that and I need to expand my portfolio, gain more experience, and, of course, earn more money.

Honestly, I've always wanted to just draw, paint, color and make art, mostly. But adulthood has taught me that I need to get paid to do these things. More importantly, I need to create a larger and more extensive portfolio--I'd hate to stagnate.

I need a job. I have a job. But I need more art-related jobs.

So I am putting it out there: I'm a COLORIST FOR HIRE! You can send me a note for my rates but I assure you that these 'rates' are semi-beginner rates that give you high-quality colors for your art and your comics (see my gallery for samples).

So, uh, yeah, HIRE ME! THANKS! CHEERS!:D

Hi Peejay, You need a job? I need a colorist,  penciler and letterer.

First I want to say I'm a big fan of your work. I'm finishing up a comic book script and I want to chat with you about possibly working together. I really think it has the potential of being a great comic.
